Remarks

Over all its a wonderful college without any issues i would love to re join again.

Entrance Preview

I entered this college through Karnataka CET I had a score of 5000 odd and i got through payment seat which then costed me 65,000 per year i choose this college because it was very close to my home and also is a reputed collage in karnataka.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is completely based on the syllabus set by Visweswaraya technological university entered in Belgaum, Teachers were very supportive and helped us to get industrial knowhow i got opportunity to go to different research campus to experience the current world and challenges.

Internships Opportunities

As a part of curriculum we did not have any internship activities and hence were not allowed to take part in any such topics but for the final year project we were allowed to find internships with our own contacts.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements were extremely good , right from microsoft, till startups 100s of companies visit every year and people were even having multiple jobs before getting out of the campus I personally got an offer from Robert Bosch and i am satisfied with it.

College Events

5

College has plenty of technical events and competitions all throguh the year there was a techno cultural fest organised annually with 100s of events spread over 3-4 days we were even encourage to visit other collage events and compete even outside bangalore we were funded to travel.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very much feasible around 5000INR was the annual fee apart from the fee suggested by CET no additional charges for exams we were asked to pay around 600 every semester to the VTU inside the campus there was syndicate bank for convenience.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any scholarship facilities but there were lot of students beneficed by this lone facility was not provided i believe.

Campus Life

2

We had extraordinary labs in the telecom department we had a dedicated telecom library sport was not promoted to great extend we had robotic team and we were active all through the year group discussions and GD were regularly planned by placement department.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I never got a chance to visit hostel but i heard from people that it was decent there were 2 canteens in the campus part from the canteen in the KIMS they served tasty , healthy and value for money food for special events food was catered also college is at the center of the city and many even stayed in PG.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni connect is very dull infect there is an annual fee for alumni and so i did not opt for it but offline we are well connected via fB etc.

Exam Structure

Exams are strictly as per VTU recommendations every semester there were 3 internals for theory , 1 internal for lab 1 final exam and 1 lab final exam for the finaly year project there was internals and externals some times there use to be 4th internals if the the average marks of the students were really low.

Admission

After selecting the seat in CET , i just walked in to the office next to principle cabin and they started with the formalities in no time and i was introduced to principal and immediately i was assigned to a teacher in the chemistry department who introduced me to the campus and redirected me to the class.

Faculty

3

Most of the senior faculty were really motivating and they never were hesitant to accept their limitations and work constructively towards the growth of the student there were some political fellows at the faculty level and that was affecting students to some extent.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
