Remarks

Good infrastructure, good teachers, well organised exams classes holidays, good playing grounds with all available sports, various cultures students to give you a new experience, occasions on every festivals.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nice course structure but too much burdened with tests. The course stucture is good as in the 1st two years all science subjects has to be studied which gives a vast idea about every subject and then we choose the majors in the 3rd year.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are a very few placements since this is a general line program and everyone applies for higher education like MS or PhD, or research positions.

College Events

5

Great campus life with diverse culture, you experience the hostel life fully with friends. All the time we are with our friends, playing around football and more sports, nice environment out of the city with fresh air to breathe.

Fees and Financial Aid

Inspire scholarship and kvpy, nsp scholarships are given by the central government, college doesn't provide any scholarships. This the reason fees is a bit more for middle class families but half of the students get inspire or kvpy scholarships and the quota students always get the advantage with a very less amount to pay.

Campus Life

Very nice infrastructure with playgrounds,WiFi, 3 floor library, all equipment available with football, cricket volleyball, tennis, chess, carrom all types of sports equipment available with a gym. Dancing room, recreation room. The WiFi is available in the hostel and the lecture halls.

Hostel Facilities

Yes it is mandatory for all the students to stay in the hostel. And this is the reason why it is so exciting to enjoy a college life. Water is available all the time, good drinking water available and and light is available all through.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.
