Remarks

I took admission because of its good placement and the experienced faculty. Almost 70-80% students got placement in some big companies like Wipro,infosis. Even last to last year 1 student of this college got placed in Amazon with 28lpa package in some off campus placement. Average salary package is 7-8 lpa in computer science branch specifically and same in IT branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty: In my college almost all teachers are very friendly and highly qualified with PhD and M.Tech. They all have a very helpful nature. I am currently in 2nd year and Jasleen mam of our computer graphics subject is one of my favourite teacher she is very kind and understand everything from a student perspective.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 460000 per year

Placement Experience

About 80% of the students got placed in computer science branch. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA but it was off campus placement. Reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and amny startups visited the campus for recruitment.

College Events

Gates(fest of GTBIT) is organised in every 2-3 years. They also conduct 3-day fest and many other events like open mic, debate, bhangra and many other competitions. Every category student can avail scholarship if he/she full fills all the conditions.

Campus Life

The campus of college is not much big. It is even smaller than my school. The whole college is in area of 2 to 2.5 acres. A polytechnic building is also there in the campus. There is a common campus, canteen for both polytechnic and b.tech students.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel in this college students have to like in nearby PGs. There are many PGs near to this college and one can find a good PG in approximately 10,000 including 3 time meals and some other basic facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile.
