Course Curriculum Overview

5

it depends on each subject but overall its nice and quite relevant like we had dsa and everyone have to do it ,somewhere down the line so might as well do it with the course and learn somethign which is useful for the interview so yeah and it tends to get quite comprehensive with all the syllabus and the teaching style is quite unusual so it is intersting to learn rather than being boring ,though sometimes its too much with all the societies and study but i guess the fun lies in it , so yeah i love it

Placement Experience

4

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung, xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is upwardly increasing each year without hostel fees : 247700, 268700, 286700, 306700 . lot of scholarship avaialbale by dtu specially based on income 100%, 75%,50%,25% on tuiton fees and other central govt based are alos available for anyone .some scholarship updates themselves on the basis of cgpa . there is also a premier scholarship specially for dtu : dell scholarship , in thsi student get around 1.5 lakh in total and lot of mentorship and confreneces hackathon by dell team along with a nice premier 32gb ram laptop.

Campus Life

5

campus life is think the best thing about this college ,the clubs the societis the people and their involvment is next level . name of our two big fests are : yuvaan and engifest they are the heart of the college and i might as well say for the whole delhi because everyone comes for it. library is great lot of literature novels and yes course related to every branch cant really tell how many but they are quite sufficent with lot of copies of a single book so that multiple pepole and access them at same time. sports are great too lot of offical playing with like inter and intra college it extermely competitve but so much fun in it . most of the societeis are run by students only and their impact is immense because they are the thing which helps you to meet new people and just do fun with everyone and yes develop lot of nice communiation skills and how to like debate wnd how to put forward your point

Admission

why i chose this college over other college particularly ove nsut : because i heard lot about dtu culutre its great fest and mainly because i knew from freinds and all tehat nsut can get quite hectic and i didnt want that all i was very tired with jee so wanna just chill and relax for a bit so yeah thats why i chose dtu and honestly i dont regret it all . i was confirmed in nsut my admission but yeah choose dtu in the end in jac counselling . and what went wrong was mainly jee advance couldnt clear so no iit delhi and rest were lot far from delhi so parents were not very happy from the location of other nit and state colleges so they choose dtu delhi. admission process is i mean same as nsut ,fill jac and do what you gotta do fill the choice list and do your thing , exams accepted are jee mains cuet for some courses , most preferred by students is easily jee mains , cutoff for general is around 95% ile for lower and for tech branches 98%ile should be good

Faculty

4

particular to software enginnering branch : faculty to student ratio is not very great but so does is of every other enng college in india we have like 180 student for 1 proffesor and it is manageable for most part , most students learn on their own anyways , faculty member most of them are cooperative and know how to work around things ,course sturcture is also nice and latest for most part it can be very vague but i guess thats enoughly important to provide complete information . exam system consists mainly of end sem and mid sems with practical : both internal and external , exams are normal the thing is practical is you should know what you learn otherwise you will perform bad in practical and i guess thats good because that should be the aim anyways

Night Life

3

not the best around college , dtu is in badli and its not the safest area so we have to think a lot before going late at night , but inside its safe and sound amazing atmosphere specially around oat (open air theatre). gym is not the best very small for a crowd like dtu . library is the best at night i go there a lot when im at my freinds hostel room . most of the things closes around 11pm but still its amazin. famous hangout places inside is oat , the raydee cafe and out lovely raj soin . outside not much but the sutta point is classic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
