Remarks

The admission process is simple. Fill the online exam. If your name appears in list. Go to college for verification. College is good, education is also appropriate but the administration isn’t very good. There is a lot of chaos in all administrative dealings. Moreover, results are out very late.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Faculty is good. Specially chem department is really supportive and the teachers act as mentors. Some professors are really nice and helpful Botany department is nice too. But the classes are continuous and exaggerating.

Placement Experience

0.5

I haven’t heard of placements from the college side taking place. There isn’t any provision for placement tests and all organised by college neither are their notifications for available opportunities. But we had one or two seminars.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very appropriate. Most of the college courses are easily available. The degree can be completed in less than 50000. There are scholarships with quotas and also on the merit base. Sports scholarship are also available.

Campus Life

2

There aren’t many co-curricular activities but the college theatre group is active. There are a few educative competitions which are healthy. But the skill subjects lack practical work. Otherwise it’s fine.

I choose this course because i have an interest in this course.curriculum prepare me for real world like i can get a good job with this course.for improving we need to focus on more practical work and train students not for theory but for real world application.exam was quite different but it also helps us to learn the core knowledge.Exam timings sometimes are not good because students have to come from different areas.sometimes timings are too early or sometimes to late

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in physics so I choose bsc in physics as major subject.. As mathematics is quite related with physics so I choose it as a minor subject.. There are two phases of exams and in these phases there is a lot of time to prepare for the exams.. However teachers method of teaching was quite friendly and soft spoken ..

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.
