I like almost everything at my college there is nothing bad thanks
I like the theme of my class room my all teachers
Also the front design of my college and the auditorium and the heritage building I like the most

Dislikes

There was three in front side of the college bht they cut them I don't like that
Also they prefer students to come from the another gate I hate that
And the canteen is also not good and affordable

As per me this course is best and also beneficial for life but the timing of exams are not good some times are are waiting for results and another exam came also they should guide students what is good for them

Fees and Financial Aid

I almost summit 5000 per semester but I didn't get any scholarship in my whole life I applied so many times but unfortunately I didn't get anything .the fee structure in my college is the are 5000 semester fee almost 3500 exam fee any 2000 other fee .the my other batchmates with other categories get better facilities like free hostal less fee and also other like scholarship etc.but my college is best in giving education but I am from middle class family so I always suffered a lot ...thanks so much

Campus Life

I didn't participate in any sports or in campus but I always went library that is very good there was so many books they help me in my studies and also class rooms are good and the teaching staff are also good the college group's in WhatsApp or in Instagram Facebook etc they also informed students through online

Admission

I was thinking about this college since I was in 9th standard I like amar singh college Srinagar too much when I came in this college there was not much competition to get admission in this college so I get admission easily.my experience was good first but fee was very much that sometimes I think that is should leave studies.

Faculty

The like almost everything of my college but the botany practical teachers they always make trouble for students about attendance and other things as per me all students are not same some are suffering from money etc

Night Life

I enjoyed every moment of my college with my friends . locality of my college is full of sweet persons and good surroundings the hostel rooms are safe and in hygienic conditions night out is safe and peaceful

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

The lavish Amar singh college (pros & cons)

I actually choose various colleges but my first preference was this college and due to my good grades i got admission in this college. I was not rejected by other colleges but i choose this one as first preference because it is one of the leading college in kashmir.
