Course Curriculum Overview

I have interest in physics so I choose bsc in physics as major subject.. As mathematics is quite related with physics so I choose it as a minor subject.. There are two phases of exams and in these phases there is a lot of time to prepare for the exams.. However teachers method of teaching was quite friendly and soft spoken ..

Internships Opportunities

I have done internships in the subject of physics.. The title was basics of electronics I have learnt there about electricity and domestics Appliances I have also made a project on washing machine and also take certificate from our mentors

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 11640 in semester 1st (Ist year) 11340 in semester 3rd (second year) 13100 in semester 5th (third year) My batchmates also pay the same fee throughout the year.. However students of general category pay 9-10 percent more than students of reserved category..

Campus Life

The annual function is held in our college.. It was hed in the month of December.. It was a 3 day festival.. The festival was so unique.. There was games and eating items in it.. The classrooms are also so good as they have smart boards..

Admission

I am choosing this college because it is one of the best college for science students in while jammu.. Here the teaching was very good than the other college..their campus area was so large..there is tress, plants and flower all around the college which gives us a healthy environment That's why I choose this college rather than other..

Faculty

Faculty and students relation are also good.. the exams conducted twice in a year and exam is quite simple.. However some example are so difficult as they give numerical instead of theory part.. The exam conducted in a smooth manner as no discrimination is done with any student

Night Life

Inside the college there was a old hall that was so old but it looks so good after so many years There was a Nescafe in the college which is also so good and items in it are so fresh and tasty..Infact the whole college was so good

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.
