Remarks

College is overall good, it is the heritage college established by Prince of Whales, so it is also known as Erstwhile Prince of Whales college. The only bad thing is, despite being a heritage college administration doesn't pay attention to the infrastructure of the college which they should be preserving like a heritage site.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good not best because syllabus hasn't been changed from many years, the administration is just reshuffling the syllabus amd the curriculum is overall same from last many years.

Placement Experience

1

Our college comes under Jammu University any kind of internship is provided by the Jammu University and not from the college. Anyone willing can check it on the Jammu University page if they want more information.

College Events

3

There are no big fest held so far in the college, like other colleges do. Yes there are some cultural events some important days Debates Poster making, Drawing etc kind of activities being held in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, the fee structure is very feasible its not that expensive they have kept it in a way so that no one is denied from getting graduate degree because of the fee structure. Plus there are scholarships too offered to the weaker sections of the society, information about which can be obtained from the college office.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any scholarships but college provides schlorship for the weaker sections of the society. The information about rhe schlorship can be availed from the college administration office in the college campus

Campus Life

1.5

Labs are bit conventional the gender Ratio is good as it is a co-ed college. Various workshops are also help from time to time. Sports competitions are being held every year in which all the colleges across the region participates. There are no cultural societies but NSS i.e National Service Scheme in which various cultural events and important days are celebrated by organising various competitions like essay writing, blood donations, painting etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very helpful, during my college days they helped me in each and every aspect be it sports, studies, or any other problm i inccured while i was in college. They will help in every aspect.

Admission

Every year University of Jammu conducts entrance based test for admissions to Undergraduate courses, candidates are required to fill the form for that entrance test to get admission in the desired course of their choice. There is cut off criteria for each amd every course offered by Jammu University in the colloege.

Faculty

4.5

The college is having one of the best faculties. Each professor is very well qualified and have great teaching skills. I haven't seen such a good faculty in any other college. Despite having the boring curriculum the way they teach you will not forget it.

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.
