Life in GCW Gandhinagar

Likes

teachers were good , knowledge seminars were organised
cultural activities were performed oftenly
college canteen was good and botanical gardens

Dislikes

benches and classrooms were not clean and managed
fans were not working properly and water coolers were not working also washrooms were also not cleaned and sanitized properly
lack of materials,specimens,chemicals and microscopes in the labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was having a medical background so my aim was ro do my further studies in medical only. The curriculum prepares me for real world application and further academy pursuits. According to me I think there should be improvement in the laboratories and the way of teaching should be improved in the whole course like use of Smart boards. According to me the frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level was okay. But question paper was very long and it was difficult to complete the whole exam in the given time so I suggest to give half an hour more to students

Yes my college is good.it provided me those things that was i needed
I enjoyed college life with study and High goals.
Some teacher's mathod of providing education was good and High educated faculties are available.

Dislikes

Arts students were discriminated against.they think that arts students are so useless
Experience faculties are provided and their of learning was better
I found new experience and of study and culture, social world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because of financial reasons.i am currently pursuing Post graduation. First of all government make control on all over college that teachers takes class on time after that provided basic needs of Library, computers , Internet connection and electricity availability. Exam questions are long then the time according to me.

ABOUT MY COLLEGE

Likes

Teaching is fantastic, fabulous, to engage the whole class teachers ask questions in middle of the lecture.
Transportation is very bad and it is very difficult to reach in the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure need a lot of improvement, there are only tiin boxes in summer they became a heat ball.
There are no placements service and there is no canteen for students
The college is a substitution of dust and smoke. There is very pollution in college area, which can lead to respiratory issues in students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very dumb girl and i had secured 70 percentage in 12. And i got 12 based admission in that college and i had not chosen any curriculum i was obliged to take these subjects. It do not prepares you for real world applications. It should be practical couse which includes how to make money?

My college is very beautiful

The teachers is very sweet and hardworking.
The campus is very beautiful and the building is also beautiful.
The canteen is also very good very affordable.

Dislikes

I don't like uniform of this college because white
I don't like the timming of college because very early.
I don't like the back area of this college

Life at GCW gandhinagar jammu

Likes: Life at college is so good as we get to experience a lot of things.My college life was ful of memories and experiences as the whoole infrastructure was good.The interior and exterior of my college that is GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu was so pretty.
I personally loved each and everything about my college.The classrooms were well ventilised.We had separate classrooms for eacg courses provided.
We had so much groounds available in the college , parks with full greenery and beautiful flowers that increased the beauty of the college.We gad a sperate auditorium for the cultural activities.Overall the whole college is good.

Dislikes

There are not much things that i disliked about my college because it was all that student needed.
But yes there were no concerts held as we see nowadays there are lot of concerts held at colleges.
There were no nightshows organised as every college had.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum because of which i chose this course was that I was interested in english literature.I love poetry because of which i chose this and my dream is to crack upsc so i chose Bachelor Of Arts as my course as it would help me in achieving my dream. No improvements for teaching methods needed as it was best. But yes there was some difficulty in managing time during exams that should be viewed.

Likes

College campus is huge. We can sit and roam around freely in green lawns
Faculty is very educated and helpfull. Anytime available
Infrastructure is good in labs and libraries

Dislikes

Dogs are always roaming around in the garden
College canteen serve fast food at high prices
Washrooms are not always clean and becomes difficult to use

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of the fact that I took admission during the first batch of NEP, we get to enroll in all the course that were helpfull for the overall development. Courses are quite helpful in pursuing higher studies

Environmental area . Classes , sitting area, teachers behavior everything is good in you college teacher are very understanding they listen every student problems.
There are many things provided in our college like seperate room for student to spent their free time and lunch.
GYM IS also provided in our college. And basement area of the college is very food also all the girls sit comfortably there in summer

Dislikes

Sometimes water supply in college is very less. In afternoon there is very less water in the water tankers all the student didn't get it.
Some students behavior is no nice otherwise everything is good.
Sometimes washroom are not properly clear.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good in the college everything is good. There is no need to improve anything Everything is perfect and well settled. The exams times is divided into two shifts becuase there are many students to give exam so uts difficult to arrange.

Love my college

Likes

Good environment enjoyed a lot, good infrastructure
We had a trip there that was very memorable and good
Teaching was also very good and teachers were so good

Dislikes

Washrooms: a big dislike hope so be good asap
It was good but sometimes felt like it must be much better
Some of the teachers were really rude enough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Timing of the exams were not bad as we were having 3 hours for our major examination, in teaching methods I would say that teachers must pay really attention rather than there fashions and they must be polite with each and every student

Infrastructure is very poor fans are not working properly
Infrastructure is very poor there is no facility of air conditioniers

The teaching method us very nice and the teachera are also good the extra curriculum activities are also available in my college gym and other sports activities are also available sometimes there is a lot of humidity and we are not survive with it

Goverment college for women's parade Jammu college review

Likes

The teachers in our college were very good, they taught us very well,
We got many opportunities in college like dancing, singing and many more.
In our college we celebrated every festival with great enthusiasm.

Dislikes

The college washrooms were also very dirty and there was no water there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is a Bachelor of commerce. I like my course very much, my favorite subject is accounting. After graduation, I will also choose Master of Commerce because of accounts as I am very interested in accounts. The course curriculum is good. The exams are easy to pass.
