Likes

Good environment enjoyed a lot, good infrastructure
We had a trip there that was very memorable and good
Teaching was also very good and teachers were so good

Dislikes

Washrooms: a big dislike hope so be good asap
It was good but sometimes felt like it must be much better
Some of the teachers were really rude enough

Course Curriculum Overview

Timing of the exams were not bad as we were having 3 hours for our major examination, in teaching methods I would say that teachers must pay really attention rather than there fashions and they must be polite with each and every student

Yearly fee was around 40000 and there was no scholarship available the course I opt was good for mine because I was interes In mathamaetics so I opt bsc in maths and scored good in that subject also that's it

Campus was really good enough there was gym many of the activitirs also there was NCC also it was very good really really good & many many things more so overall the campus & activities were good we really enjoyed

I choosen this college because in Jammu this is one of the best college and also it is only for girls so it is better option for a doughters parents so yaaa that's why I choose this college and also never regret for that

Faculty was really good some of the teachers I really appreciate were very dedicated, they were very knowledgeable also exams system was quite good there & exams were not too tough not easy so it was overall good experience

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.
