Remarks

College- I was a student who didnt know how to speak a line in english fluently when i joined but post my course completion, i was hired in call center which only talks about your english for a package of 3 lacsm not only that the college helped me develo

Entrance Preview

It was a direct entry into the college post 2nd PUC. but for MBA they accept CAT, XAT scores, the cut off percentage for BSC was 60% and for BCOM was 85%. You are lucky if you have sports quota. that really helps you get an admission even if your percentage is low and hence its advised to be a part of some or other extra curricular activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Excellent, I was B.sc student with physics, maths and electronics. The college has state of art labs to do experiments and is not just focussing on theories.

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies for internship but i did from Indibulls as i had known individuals and got 10K per month as stipend for 3 months and placement offer post completion which was of 2.4 lacs per annum.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college is best in bangalore so all the tier 1 corporates come over for placements. I didnt clear 2 placements as i was inclined more on completing the course with dedication than working but almost everyone in my class got placed.

College Events

5

Christ Fest, Basketball competition is the best and known among all colleges in bangalore. Almost all the new product launch happens in this place. Especially food products and we get to enjoy a free munch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For BSC it was feasible however for MBA/management courses its expensive. I paid 5000 for each year but with christ becoming a autonomus university, the fee structure might have changed for sure. The last i know is BU went to become semester wise even for degree courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea. But i am sure for MBA there are multiple banks which offers loan as this is one of the most popular college in bangalore and getting admission is purely on your talent.

Campus Life

5

Gender Ration is 40 boys, 60 girls. its one of the best ratios with diverse culture being treated with equality. Strict for any nonsence. So can say its a no nonsence college, while there is lot of fun, space due to wide college premises, it will help you upskill from all the areas- communication, personality, business acumen, knowledge etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I wasnt staying in Hostel, mess is good and average priced. There is a kiosk where you get one of the best quick foods for as less as 5 rupee, I am talking about my times. now it might be 15-20 which is still good.

Alumni/Alumna

I am afraid while we have a dedicated space to connect with every alumni, i am not really active. College seniors are very supportive, there is absolutely no ragging culture and its direct termination.

Exam Structure

Well planned, strict, cant take exam if you dont have 75%, money also doesnt work so please ensure you have attendence. Exams are balanced, its not too much of pain.

Faculty

4.5

Superb. The faculty are like feeders, they feed knowledge in your brain whether you like it or not. while they are strict, the way of teaching is very different, they teach you on every subject from the basics even additions. must say maths was never so e

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
