Remarks

The faculty of the college, campus and placements record drove me into this college. Also this college is at No. 1 position in the Uttarakhand and has the A level credited by NAAC. I had chosen B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering because it has the fastest growing area in the corporate. This field has a very wide scope.

Course Curriculum Overview

The couse of th GEU is the best as it includes the important points and topics that are important in engineering. Curriculum also includes carrer skills, communication skills and many more which makes us perfect in life also. Every faculty is best and very helpful in the GEU.Everyone will help you in your tough times. But, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, is our class coordinator is the best faculty that I had seen. He is very helpful and has a very friendly nature with the students.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 962152 per year

College Events

GEU is full of fun and extracurricular activities. Their are almost of every type of clubs in the college which you can join and can enjoy. Respected President Sir of GEU is very humble and cares every student. He ensures that every religion's festival should be enjoyed in college so that none of the students feel lonely or separated. Also the college organises a huge GRAFEST every year. It is a very big event in which bollywood artists such as Arijit Singh, Honey Singh, Amaan malik, Niti Mohan, and even international artist such as Zaeden come every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a EMI scheme for the students by which students can pay there fees in installments and they also give you letter of recommendation for the educational loans from the bank's. There are many options to pay the fees.

Campus Life

Whole campus is very beautiful surrounded but lush green trees. Unlike other universities, which has only buildings, GEU has a very wide area that includes many institutional buildings, garden, Playground, Basketball court, badminton court, open auditorium and many more.

Hostel Facilities

I did not opted for hostel But hostel facility is best. Hostels rooms are like a deluxe hotel room. Clearness and security is the main highlight of the hostels. I think the hostel fees is 1 lakh per year which includes food, laundry, etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
