Remarks
It is prestigious and is one of the top colleges in assam having all the programs such as engineering, information technology and bachelor degree in it. Moreover I didn't want to go abroad for bachelor degree as I'm not exposed to foreign cultures before.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all our college is the pioneering college to adopt the CBCS for higher studies. Our course is well fit with the mental ability of the students. But the chemistry laboratories and the laboratory teachers need somewhat upgrade and update for better results. The library is well good and contains almost all books necessary for the students.
College Events
Cultural functions are well taken care of. Each year an annual program is kept where dj and singers are invited. Moreover college week is held each year containing various prized competitions. Cultural nights are very well celebrated. Engineer's day is well celebrated with lots of cultural programs. Overall cultural direction can be given 4.5 stars out of 5stars.
Campus Life
Campus is very big but lacks management and decoration. The buildings can be rated 2.5 stars out of 5 stars. Sport facilities are minimum. Wifi system of the college can be rated 2 star ou out 5 stars as it fails to cover the entire campus. Library is well managed and contain every books needed by the students. Lab equipments are in the worst stage and need heavy upgrades.
