The college structure is not so good. The college inside rod is very poor condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, This relevant, research-driven and fair. This college system is very good. And examination conduct by under Astu and DU. The exam system is very nic for me. The learnings imparted as part of my curriculum. The curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knwoledge to the students, that'd be helpful in securing on campus placement. Yes, industrial visits orgenized for the student.

Placement Experience

I am not sure the tentitive percentage of student. A few no of internships come to this institute. And tgeinstitute take special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.

College Events

Freshmen social, Biswakarma Puja, Swarasati puja, College week, Engineering day, Science day, Abeyantrix. All student are perticipate that event. The events are celebrate big. The student are perform very nic.All kind off event are perticipate the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Admission fess 8995/year. Transport and medical fess 1100. Hostel admission fess 8000. Montly 1500. We fill up 1500 for per examination. No, there are any additional fess that had to be paid in order ti secure an admission to our course.Yes, The collrge provide transparencyin the fee breakdown.

All kind of student have this college. All tribe are have. Workshops is nic. Hindu, muslim christian come this college. I am not sure the tentitive percentage of student. Our seniors are treat very well. They are very helpful. College seniors intreraction I have had with alumni in effected.

We get CEE entrance exam. After pass the exam we go to councelling. And they sent the particular college. The exam is conducted by under ASTU. And this college is admitted us. Then we give some fees and we are the student of this college. We admitted this college on 08 july 2019. And classese start from 01 Aug 2019.

A calm and disciplined campus life at JIST

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to participate for Internship placements from 3rd year and FTE offer from 4th year starting. Overall the placements scenarios are pretty good considering it to be a NIT. The overall highest package goes to around 80 lac plus and the average package lies around 18 to 20 lac for CSE Department. The opportunities are great with companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia coming for on campus opportunities providing agreat experience

Many companies visited our campus for placement..Top IT Companies that visited our campus is Samsung, Nvidia, Oracle , SAP Lab , Cisco etc Psu also visited for placement... Which includes BPCL, OIL India Limited,EIL, MECON, BEL, HPCL.. etc .. Top core company also visited here ... Which includes vedanta , jsw , Tata Power, Honda etc . Highest package is 82 lpa which is given by atlassian. Average is 6 lpa I am working in infratech company

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are allowed to participate in oncampus summar internship and from. 7th semester starting they are allowed for 6 month internship and Full time roles . There is a Training and placement Cell in our college there are some heads of this cell they are senior professors and it have final year students in senior coordinator position and 3 rd year study as probationary. Students bring the companies which fulfills the criteria of TNP cell and each company have their own eligibility criteria and selection procedure. Mostly companies allows 6 cgpa without any active backlog students . But some high paying companies requires 7 or more cgpa . In 3rd year Cisco , microsoft, public sapiens, Tech Mahindra, Accenture ,Oracle and many more companies visited in our campus and hired good amounts of students for summer internship and mostly offers full time role as ppo to students. In 4th year a lots of company like Novartis, amazon, flipkart,aditya birla, Cisco , Deloitte, oracle,ukg, Motorola, siemens , IBM and many more startups visited college and hired .Some paid 15+ CTC and some 6 to 10 CTC . Almost 40% of students are placed till December this year from each branch . Personally I'm planning for taking chances to get an online internship and then try to go for higher studies abroad in automation and robotics.

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

I chose JIST because of its balance between affordability, academic structure and accessibility compare to many private engineering colleges JIST offers a government aided set up with lower fee which was an important factor for me at the same time.
