Remarks

Best according to rank amongst all the colleges providing the course.hygeine was appropriately mantained.good teaching staff.A veteran Delhi University college.students of mixed caste, financial status and religion.

Course Curriculum Overview

Up to date syllabus providing eclectic view of business and economics with subjects from statistics,economics,business studies, environmental studies etc.regular classes were being held and the teaching faculty was utmost supportive and cleared doubts.hold extra classes if needed.

Companies like Ernst and young,Royal Bank of London,accentures,delloite ,Larsen and toubroetc provided employment opportunities to students.some startup companies also became part of the placement process.placement cell was active in providing best opportunities to students.students from bcom hons. And bbe were favoured by the companies.

A vast range of societies for students to be part of ranging from debating society,street theatre,commerce,vocal,dance,quiz indulging in various inter college competitions.cultural fests allow students to participate and organize fest at a grand level with renowned singers performing.

Are off campuses worth the DU hype

Placement Experience:

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I don't know much about placements as a first year. But highest package is 23.5 LPA and median was 13 LPA. Companies visited were accenture, EY etc. the placement report for 2025 batch had not yet been uploaded on the website

Deshbandhu college, the hidden gem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons because i was interested in commerce and here too they provide top level learning. With computers they teach us excel and everything and its really nice in this technical era that we are continuously learnibg and learning. I even joined my internship and there too i used all my learnings from college. So overall i love this as i can focus on other things too

As per the reports only 30% gets placed and you should build outside relation with companies because companies over here you have not even heard of them, so it's like college not for placement average placement is about just 3.5 LPA

honest JMC review

Placement Experience:

Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.
