Remarks

Mumbai is the financial capital of India.i choose SIES College of management studies because it gives very good return on investment.nice placement that will help me to boost my future career.there is plethora of opportunity to pursue your career in the top MNCs.The educational environment is good and there are enormous number of scope to get the upper hand from the crowd.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is provided by University of Mumbai which is amongst the top notch university in the country.Faculties are really very knowledgeable and help students a lot so that we can generally come to know about the corporate world. Coming to academics,it's upto you how well you perform in this 2 years. The more you work hard the more you gain.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah I have done my internship from a startup named Leadninja and they are paying me 5000/month for a work from home internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is quite decent enough if you consider the fees. In the previous year, highest package swings around 16lpa and average package is around 7.2lpa. considering the amount of fees,I think it is a very good ROI.companies like EY,KPMG,Zee,StarPlus,HDFC are recruiting from our college on a regular basis.so placement is not a problem if you work hard.

College Events

Campus life is so good.we are making most out of it. As the college name states South Indian education society and cultural programs are one of the main things that ever happened in our college. There is some traditional south Indian lungi which we had wore and then taking part in the programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for an educational loan. Now a days education loan is very easy to get. You can get it from any bank in India.those who can pay the amount then there is no problem.otherwise it will be better if you are applying for an education loan.

Campus Life

Whole college premises is connected by a free wi-fi which is the most important thing.Apart from that our library has a very good collection of business books and journals and also you can find some really good novels to read.

Hostel Facilities

There are no facilities for hostel but you can find rented flats nearby for a reasonable amount. The flat life is so chill.unlike mumbai, Navi Mumbai is so pleasant and chill with interesting people from all over india.you can't be bored.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

Good Curriculum, High Fees, No Amenities, Mediocre to Poor Placement (use references instead)

I applied for 4 colleges - VESIM, Welingkar, ITM, and SIES SBS.Out of 4, I got selected for VESIM, ITM very easily. (1) ITM - Mumbai students get admission very easily. 90,000 Rs. discount for the best candidate on the day of the admission process. No GD, only short essay and PI. Rs. 25,000 for provisional admission and will refund very late. (2) VESIM - GD, PI & Q&A with department faculty which was good. Hassel-free process. (3) Welingkars - Very lengthy 1-day process, organized. GD and PI. Very competitive. Nearly 2 months for announcing results. Waitlist candidates will have to wait very long & miss other colleges. No communication on phone, only email. (4) Got into SIES SBS through 50% South Indian Minority Quota. Chances of admission is highest if you are Tamil Bhramin but your candidature also matters. If you are not good enough, you go in waitlist. I got in first round. Waitlist students kept joining till the first week of college in mid-August. Management Quota also there....Read More
