A breief review of ITM Business School

Likes

The Facilities were very supporting in nature.They helped al lot in placement era.
The curriculum is also fantastic especially telewind department who used to enhance the personality of every single students.
College is quite old and its located in Navi Mumbai so its alumni network is also so strong.

Dislikes

Placement is quite low as compared to some other colleges located in mumbai
The Intake of this college is quite high.
Campus size is not too good. We have the basic facilities available.

What is the placement scenario of the campus, highest and lowest package being offered?

The company start visiting our campus after 4th semester in which we completed our 5 months internship. Around 400 companies visited last year for MBA program. The highest placement was 19 lpa and the lowest was 6.5 lpa. Till now more than 60% students get placed of 2023-2025 batch. After getting my degree i will gain some cooperative experience and after that most probability I'll do a startup.

Total fees of the course and scholarship availability

The total fees of two year program is 1950000 and first year fees is 595000 and second year fee is 600000 for all the programs like marketing HR Finance. The fee for MBA in IB is 1500000 This college also provide scholarship exam in which they provide 100% Scholarship in first year fees.

Students view on facilities provided in college hostel

In hostel room we gets 24*7 light and water. In a room there were two students we both gets aur own wardrobe bed and study table and chairs. We get 4 time meal in a day the quality of food is good. And the menu is also so different day by day. For PG and cheaper flats you have to go to sector 12 which is around 7 km from our hostel and college.

Students view on examination pattern and grading system followed in the college

The ratio of student and teachers is around 10:01 Some of the faculties discriminate among students. There were six semester in upcoming 2 years program. The level of difficulty is moderate. Around 30% students not able to clear the exams and there were also 75% of criteria for attendance to sit in examination

Night Life

The gym is only available in college hostel there were lots of equipment in yhe gym. The cafeterias is also too good in the college campus and the price is also geniue. We have to be in tine in the college campus it depends upon the timings of the lecture scheduled. In hostel we have to be anyhow present before 10 PM. We also have attendance in the hostel at night. There were lots of places to visit nearby like this college is located in mumbai. Like juhu beach Forts Mumbai night life so on.

Cultural activities and facilities provided in the campus

We have very cultural activities like onam Dussehra Dandiya nights DJ nights. The library is quite large there were lots of books available.The college also provide Inter college Sports competition. The technical team is also too good for our representative classrooms.

The best reason to choose this college was first of all its location its location in mumbai maharashtra and the college established 34 years ago so the alumni network is also so strong of this college.

Students view on faculties and internship opportunities

The curriculum is fanatics for all the specialization the all teachers were phd Holders and average experience was around 10 years in terms of teaching or cooperates. In around 3 months we have of semesters and along this we have NGO internship Company visits and 5 Months summer internship in which there were hogh chance to get pre placement offers.

Remember you will not just be getting a degree but will be investing in your lifetime career. Here are a few things you should consider before applying to determine if it's worth it or not,

Determine the kind of profile that suits you the most; HR, Sales, Financial product sales, IT sales, IB sales, Core finance, etc
Make sure your graduation % aligns with the requirements of the MNC offering job
100% placements can be misleading because of “bulk hire & fire “ profiles.
Determine the average in hand or take-home salary of your dream profile and check its stability from LinkedIn alumni.
Don't run after the brand name because a company that provides excellent goods and services does not necessarily have a good working environment.
Some IT giants may offer poor profiles that lack stability where you are not hired under direct company payroll. Beware of such offers.

It's best to contact the old alumni to get hold of the real scenario and only then invest money here.

I completed my PGDM in Financial Markets from ITM Navi Mumbai in the year 2022. I am currently working as an Asset Desk Manager at HDFC Bank. The average package for my branch during the 2022 placements stood at INR 6.5 LPA.

In PGDM FM, your hard work matters the most. A trading lab is provided which helps us to learn more about trading. Most companies come to the campus offering a sales profile. ITM Navi Mumbai is not among the top business schools, so if you want to go for research or technical analysis, you will need to work hard.

The professors possess a good knowledge of their field. They are very helpful and friendly. It is you, however, who will have to take the initiative.

Go for Financial Markets if you are motivated and wish to pursue research. Otherwise, you can go for other PGDM specializations offered by ITM Navi Mumbai according to your goals.
