JIST: An Overview.

They are good in number of ways but are not perfect as well .A better and helpful environment to students is must and positive efforts are welcomed from them.

The course structure is upto the mark and the teaching is quite good as well.Exam structure is also good but for research and industrial exposure it is not that well equipped and betterment is welcomed. So far as I know there is no such industrial visits for the branch.

No there is no placements in our course for now. Regarding internships I have availed one from Indian Academy of Sciences in IISER-K but it is awaited due to Covid 19 pandmic

The college celebrates a number of events every year. From college week,freshman social and different pujas the celebration is good. There is a technical fest 'Abeyantarix' which is celebrated in a grand fashion.The participation is good as well. Also different competition are held at regular intervals by the societies in colleges.

Feasible fees: 10,000 a year . It is accepted both by online and offline mode as the situation demands. Transparency in fees breakdown is up to the mark as well. No additional charges during admission apart from the admission fees for the course you are assigned.

Scholarships opportunities are provided based on 12th percentage and semester performances. Application for the scholarship is through online site of the scholarship and the college assist you for the purpose as well. Average sum is around 60000 per year.

Gender ratio is around 2:1.Cultural societies, extra curricular societies are there and provides a great exposure to the students.The students awareness about political affairs and attributes are acclaimable as well as general election for students union body is organised every year .

No, I live in PG and the facilities are good. The fees is around 4500-5000 for different PG s for the facilities they provides. Good food, facilities and shorter distance to the college are the prime reasons for choosing PG over hostels.

The senior and alumnis are helpful and informative as well as they provides a better outlook to things from their experiences.

The Chemistry branch in the Institution is an acclaimed course. Moreover the institute is a renowned one in the city.Usually it happens around June after commencement of the 12th results.The selection is based on the % you score in your boards and a merit list is prepared and counselling is done accordingly.

There are around 7-8 faculties in our course. All of them are highly qualified and the average age is around 30-35 years. They have proper clarity of concepts and always tries to do better for the students. But more efforts are welcomed as well. Regarding the relevant certifications they have without any doubts.
