It is one of the best colleges in pune. The admission process is efficient. We can avail the government scholarship schemes

Course Curriculum Overview

I was passionate about mechanical engineering. Faculty student interaction is good. Most if the faculty have PhD's in their respective fields. Exams were at appropriate intervals which gave sufficient time to study.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A various internships are available through renowned companies and industries in Pune. A sufficiently required stipend is offered.

Placement Experience

Almost all the students grab job's from campus placements except fir those who opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay the full fees in a single installment also there are exceptions.

Campus Life

An annual fest is conducted at the start if the year. A whole some library is available for students.

Life of a mech_engineer at VJTI

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
