Remarks

Overall college is good. Reason behind choosing this college is placement records and autonomy. There are good placements. Admission process is not too complicated. And the dates for admission are decided by University. Overall college experience is good . College has good teaching staff and helpful too. But the college campus is small and also it don't have playground but you will get opportunity definitely if you want to play any sport. Collegedunia helped me a lot while choosing colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I was going for computer science but I was unable to get that so I have chosen IT. Faculties of college are good with good teaching method also. Exams are not too tough they can be cleared with regular normal study.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 24934 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will get internship according to your knowledge till 3rd. Year. Stipend depends upon companies. If you made any good project you will get advantage in placement and internships.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students internships are offered. From 4th year you get opportunity for placements. You get advantage of VIT college here because companies at VIT you have to apply. So there are too many companies. Average package for CS is about 5L for IT 4L.

Fees and Financial Aid

Open category has 1.6L fees. Further according to your cast OBC - 93K, SC,ST - 4K, TFWS - 25K. There are too many internship opportunities too and stipend depends on company where you get internship.

Campus Life

Gandharva is annual fest which is very very enjoyable. There are too many other fests also. Campus life is good.

Interview Experience

No there is not any interview or any others. You will get admission according to your score in mht cet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
