Remarks

Lot more opportunities to grow in Delhi, considering that it is the centre of the Legal Word in India, besides being the capital city. Professors are distinguished, subjects are great, and good internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have only studied on campus for one semester so I have limited idea. But the course is pretty nice and the professors are amazing. So far, I have really enjoyed studying under Dr. (Prof.) Prasannanshu, Dr. Anup Surendranath, Prof. Mukul Raizada and Dr. Risham Garg.

Placement Experience

4.5

I h‰ve just begun with my second year so I have no idea about that. I‰m just trying to reach the hundred characters count.

College Events

2.5

You can't have really expect to have a life at law school. But we do have a Cultural Committee which organised a few cultural events across the semesters. Our college fest a Kairos is probably the highlight of the year. It happens in May. Other than that, the college per se usually invests more time and effort in organising educational events and competitions rather than cultural ones. But Delhi is a very happening place so you can always choose to go and explore the city.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I availed the MMVY scholarship provided by the MP Govt. College provided assistance during the process.

Campus Life

Justice T. P. S. Chawla library is probably the highlight of the infrastructure. It is one of the best and biggest collection of legal material in the country and is equipped with the latest technology. Both the Girls and Boys hostels have their own gymnasiums and mess. Wifi is provided to all the students. We only have a basketball court as of now, but the campus is looking to expand in size.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is provided to every student. One room is shared by 3 students but it's in the form of cubicles, so one can simply put up curtains to create a distinct living space. AirCon is provided for each room with a separate remote. The washrooms are cleaned every single day and there's facility for both hot and cold water. There is separate housing for men and women and the mess is within the hostel building. Individual rooms are also available for those with special needs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements during the final semester of M.Sc Electronics. Companies that visit Jamia are Airtel, TCS, Hitachi, Wipro, AT&T, and Samsung. All students were 100% placed in these big companies. Some who do internships in other companies were offered Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). The highest package offered was around 5 lakhs and the average offered was around 1 lakh. I did get placed in Reliance Jio, however, I wished to study further, therefore I did a few months of work in the company and then dropped to pursue MBA.
