Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus implies us in learning all the essential languages, structures and boosting our depth until we leave colleges.Biswajit Sir, IEM branch, was one such teacher who had a vivid knowledge in the Physics department, and although he taught one only for 1 year, his guidances in class as well as in the laboratory were very beneficial and will sure come in handy in future

The Job opportunities are mainly from the marketing franchises with honorable mentions like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, AMAZON, BHEL, BSNL, HAL, BEL. Students can always go pursue higher education aiming at degrees like M.Tech, M.E. Seperate courses are there for students who are serious enough to study for IESIES, UPSC and GATE exams

The college fests include for 1st years, URECKON, UEMCYCLOTHON etc which were a remarkable experience. Some are seperated for 1-2 days decorating entire college, and a vivid participation of mass students from every year can be found

Campus Life

Cannot say about the campus infrastructure. Our college basically focuses on learning & integration, without any external means of benevolence. There is a limited wifi in the campus, the library is well supplied with books as well as computers ready for research, all labs are clean and well supplied with all the equipments. Only lacking is the sports facility which is not there due to our college structure,still there is one small ground where one can play volleyball

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
