Remarks

One of the best college in Kolkata, and I wanted to pursue engineering too in computer science department so it was the best option which I could opt for as my JEE mains result were not so good that's why I opted for a private university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and acedemics was really great for us as we did learn a lot of things, and the faculty was also very good as they will make one understand the subject rather than forcing it into them.

Class Size: 92Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are really great as our college organized Cocubes, Amcat and Elitmus exams which were free for us, from the scores of those exams many companies hire freshers as well as experienced people. Apart from that more than 100 companies came for conducting their drives in our college.

I was a part of Technical Festival (Ureckon) as a part of coding team where I organized coding event (CodeRanch). In 2020 this was our 2nd edition of the tech fest and students from various colleges took part in it as well as it was for school students also, overall it was a huge success.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
