Remarks

It is a government college and many big companies come to this college for internships and placements like google, goldman sachs, JP Morgan etc. These companies offer very high packages and many more benefits. But you must be a really good programmer and must have other necessary skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most people in our college focus on programming, because the companies that come to the college come to hire people for tech profiles. The opportunities for non tech and core profiles are not as many. So if one wants to go for tech profile, then CS and IT stream is best, because any other branch in this case, just adds to extra studies and burden. Otherwise if you want to go in core fields, then the curriculum is good and updated. The faculty/teaching staff is okay, I would say. There is not much focus/encouragement on research or practical applications (of core engineering sciences) though.

Internships Opportunities

I am a fresher right now. I am applying for various companies on campus.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are many big companies that come to our college like Google, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan. these companies offer very high packages and many benefits. but many companies only allow coe and it students so if you are in any other stream it will be more difficult for you to get a good placement or internship. you have to be very good at programming and data structures and algorithms problem solving. apart from this there are very some good opportunities in non tech and very few ones in core branches.

College Events

4

Our college has many amazing societies for extracurricular activities, where you get to make to new friends, interact with seniors, go to events and competitions. It is a great way to pursue your hobbies as well as get more exposure.

Campus Life

Campus is super huge and beautiful. Red brick buildings and lots of greenery and fauna. The library is very huge too and has 3 floors with lots of books which you can issue for your curriculum. So you don't need to buy new books which I feel is awesome. Wifi is pretty good for all purposes. There is a gym which is pretty spacious and has good equipments.
