Remarks

It's good for vlsi specialisation and also with good infrastructure labs and facilities. Also having number of licenses for CAD softwares regarding semiconductor industry. More than 60% of staff are having PhD degree.

Placement Experience

It's well and good for all the specifications mainly for software domain. If the market is down in any domain then there won't be placements. If placements are held, only for internship but there won't be conversion till new projects.

College Events

We are having separate grounds for every sport, also having indoor stadiums and having shuttle courts for every block in the hostels. Cultural events will be held for every one month by every association like Telugu, Tamil etc.,

Campus Life

Every student will be giving 10GB per month. We are having all sports facilities from A to Z. Infrastructure and lab equipment is more than sufficient for a student to complete their degree with good knowledge.

Depending on the company's requirements backlog students can attend. company's like Shahi, Intertek, and Pallava groups are they came. average packages of the company are about 250000 per annum. mostly above 90% of students got placed except the students who all want to pursue their master's degree. First semester students are eligible mostly for campus but all students attend campus. This company, Wipro, has more marketing companies also, call centers. Package from 20,000 to 1,00,000 highest package. 70 to 80 percent of students get placement. My plan after my degree goes to the job only.

DECENT PLACE WITH DECENT OPPORTUNITIES

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester and up to the 8th semester, (final years only). For the Mechanical department, usually more or less 50 companies visit for placement offerings. 80 to 85% of students get placed every year from the mechanical department alone. salary starts from 12,000 to 25,000 per month. My plans are to start a business related to the department.

The pros and cons of VIT Vellore

I chose VIT Because my area of interest was Biotechnology And overall India this college has more educational Value and they provide with proper placements I applied for various other colleges too I was accepted in Hyderabad University and kerala University but compared to those colleges vit seemed like the best option The eligibility criteria for Integrated course were based on our 12th boards percentage If u secure above 70% you are likely to get accepted But try to secure more than that for a safer side The admission process is completely online but you have to check daily for updates and when to submit the required documents For Other course students they have an entrance exams Based on their scores they will be separated into various categories Category 1,2,3 and 4 But as the category increases the tuition fee also increases...Read More

VIT - Pros and Cons

I applied for the VITEEE exam through the college website for a fee of Rs.1500 as far as I can remember, and the eligibility for writing the exam is having a minimum aggregate of physics, chemistry, and mathematics in class 12th. As far as reservation goes,I was not elegible for a reservation.I took my admission during the pandemic and I had to take part in an online admission cum entrance exam in which I had to have two devices.The exam was monitored by a faculty through web camera as well as a software called "third eye"(Recognises unwanted noises and gives alerts).
