Remarks
I wanted to study microbiology for a long time. Hence, after my higher secondary I applied to this college which is known to have a great faculty and good name among the colleges of Kolkata. As it is affiliated to Calcutta University, it has also a very good course structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is affiliated to Calcutta University and hence the classes are also taken accordingly to complete the course. The faculty is great and all the lectures are offered with utmost sincerity. We also are given the chance to clear our doubts after every class.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are generally not provided by the college but we are allowed to gt internships with our own capabilities. Our college encourages us in doing so.
Placement Experience
Jobs are generally not offered by the college or by the university after the completion of the B.Sc course. Students often take up higher studies like M.Sc after completing this three-year course. We are mainly encouraged to study more and know the subject with depth.
College Events
The annual fest of our college is Nexus. It is a three day long festival and all the students are allowed to take part in the various competitions. We had separate college freshers as well as departmental freshers on the first year of our college.
Campus Life
Our campus is huge with a vast ground. We have games room, a huge library with a wonderful collection of books, and also well-updated labs with chemicals and instruments of our necessity. We have separate labs for all the departments.
