Remarks

It had the course I wanted to pursue and the college has a good reputation hence I made the decision. The course structure was also comprehensive and immersive while the faculty was also well known and the campus was very beautiful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good curriculum, we did have good field exposure but industry exposure was missing. Faculty has been top notch in their fields and put in a lot of efforts to teach us. There has been an undue pressure with respect to academics sometimes but it can be handled with more focus.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities depend on each batch. Mostly social sector does not rely on a lot of contacts and connections for jobs and hence the job search is a crucial and difficult task. Also since it's a new course the recognition is relatively lesser.

College Events

There are several sports, music, quizzes and moots that happen in the university. Some of them are university level while some are big and have months of preparation behind them. People do show enthusiastic preparation.

Its a very good college with almost all the required facilities.

I chosed artificial intelligence and data science because it has a very good future.the world now is depending on ai so its very useful for me to get a job. My college and the faculties r really preparing us so well for the real world applications. But they can still improve in the teaching methods. The students from 3rd sem they are eligible for placements. The companies like Toyota, EY, Micromax, Accenture, KPMG, Delliote etc. will come to hire the freshers. The highest package offered is around 20lpa nd the lowest package ia around 4lpa The percentage of students getting placed is 70-80% My plans after degree is to work for 5yrs in mnc

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

So for admission into the NLUs, you gave to give CLAT. I took CLAT in December 2023 and secured a reputable rank which got me into NLSIU in the general category. For the general category, the university accepts admissions up to rank 100 (a safe rank) however, it varies for different categories, the information for the same can be accessed on their respective websites.
