The pedagogy is a combination of classes and cases, and the curriculum is vast and task intensive. Academics are taken very seriously at IIM Ranchi and at the same time, students are provided with adequate coaching for the same. The faculty is talented and have many years of experience in teaching. Classes are never dull, and you learn something valuable in every one of them. The peer learning is exceptional, with students coming from various walks of life someone has something to contribute. Team projects are a boon, and IIM Ranchi curriculum has many opportunities to work as teams understanding multiple opinions and perspectives. The classrooms are vast and host some of the most intuitive clubs meets and competitions throughout the year. First-year at any B-school can be a daunting thing for any student. Getting adjusted to the fast-paced life in college takes weeks to get accustomed to. The Academic Committee of IIM Ranchi does an incredible job of helping students cope with the hectic life of an MBA student. Several other committees help make this transition easier. The Suchana Bhawan campus is situated approximately 12kms from the hostels in Khel Gaon. IIM Ranchi provides bus facilities for an easy commute from the hostels and classes. Once you stay at the campus and get accustomed to the rigour of an MBA, you'll get used to it. This, in itself, teaches you a lot about time management and responsibilities. There is wifi available both at the campus as well as the hostels. Sports facilities are also available. The hostels are single rooms and come with basic amenities. Mess facilities are also available at the hostels. The SFC committee does an impeccable job handling problems faced by students at college or the hostel premises.
