Remarks

Placements being one of the reason, but not the only. IIM Ranchi focuses on the hollistic development of every students which is quite evident through all of their student clubs. Apart from this, the faculties are highly qualified and very friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite updated. And case studies are conducted regularly to help understand the industrial world. During the pandemic, the events are still being conducted digitally, some of these events being webinars with Jio Creative Labs, Patanjali Ayurved, JP Morgan and many more. All the faculties are well versed with their subject. It's hard to pick one.

Course Fees: INR 1530000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are at par and most of the comanies that visit us are prominent associations such as Amazon,Godrej, ICICI Prudential, TVS and many more. Reguar alumni sessions are conducted.

College Events

There are a lot of cultural, technical fests in our college. We have Agon as the managemest fest Rush for the Sports and cultural fest.The campus is also near the Khelgaon stadium which adds to the beauty of the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of the college is very good and well-structured. Teaching at the college is excellent, and students are taught various skills such as tailoring and gardening. Different types of co-curricular activities are conducted, through which student-teachers are taught many useful and practical skills. Gardening is taught, and co-curricular activities help students learn extra work beyond academics. There is NSS work and social work as well. Overall, the curriculum is very good, and the teachers there fully focus on ensuring that students stay focused on their curriculum and give their best.

I see a lot of students who struggled in maths, that's why I chose this course. If I talk about real-world examples, from number systems to multiplication, fractions and trigonometry to find the height of pole. Areas of improvement are to relate mathematics with real-world examples, use methods like Vedic mathematics, and also creative, active participation rather than rote memorisation.

Seeing it all through new eyes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is in vicinity to the place I live so was somewhat familiar with the institute. I wanted to study western medicine / allopathy. Couldn't get MBBS through NEET , so BDS was the second best option I was left with to make an indivitualistic existence in the field of medicine. The course curriculum is upto the mark. But without the professors' personal insight , professional experience and processed information the syllabus , books or the curriculum is far from incomplete. Areas of improvement would be constantly trying to update the college as much as possible , which they must be trying to do , as I like to see changes around me. The timings and areangement in exams are determined by reliable faculties so its something I wish to get familair with.

As it is government college,I took admission in this college under non local quota. The college has good infrastructure and college premises are good.No other choice to take other college.The hostel is too near to the college.
