Remarks

Overall I want to say that it may be one of the best institutions for a diploma as I experienced the finest facilities and faculties of this college the rooms of hostel, classrooms and the mess were awesome.

Entrance Preview

SLIET Entrance test and scored 122 in the 1st set and 83 in the 2nd set, My brother suggested me to go for this college.

I accessed the course curriculum & faculty information from Google and the SLIET website. I found very helpful from my school too and from my elder brother also.

My college internship experience is too good. My college has an 80 - 85 % placement guaranty with the most known global companies. Nice experience in training and very supportive faculty.

Guaranteed placement. 80 - 85% placement guaranty Companies that come to campus are TCS, iGate-Patni, M&M, L&T Infotech, Birlasoft, Infosys, Trident India, ISGEC, etc.

College Events

Many cultural events and festivals celebrated in our college top singers and artists are invited from Bollywood to entertain the students. Farewell, the party is also done here for last year students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college appreciates good students by giving them scholarships not only on entrance exams but on the basis of regular exams and our college provides education loans also through some banks.

Campus Life

The campus is filled with full of discipline and no ragging did here. Seniors are of helping nature helps a lot in setting up in the college gender ratio is almost the same in every course a/c to my knowledge. No politics in done on or by the students in the college. Overall nice facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess facilities are quite a good hostel and mess fees are included in the annual fees and many vacant seats are available every year since it has a big hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful natured and well behaved with junior. No ragging did here. Newcomers get a lot of help by the senior ones in setting up in the college and alumni network is also the best as I experienced.

Exam Structure

The exam includes 5 semesters in which the students have to pass out all and a good level of questions given and teachers are very strict during the exam and good exam conducted here.

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
