Remarks

IIM Ranchi is on one of fastest growth trajectories that we have witnessed for quite sometime now. Admission here would land me an opportunity to be a part and experience first hand, the benefits on growth aligned.

Course Curriculum Overview

What I love the most about the pedagogy is the course delivery. Domain and subject knowledge is delivered through interesting and crisp real life case studies and stories making the entire batch more thoughtful. Being one of the top IIMs in the country, the institute attracts some of the best faculty members who, through their extensive experience go about motivating and guiding the students personally and professionally.

Course Fees: INR 15 per year

Placement Experience

IIM Ranchi attracts some of most prominent recruiters across industries like Google, Amazon, Vedanta, TATA Group, etc.

College Events

The institute holds a grand cultural and sports festival at its campus that sees active participation. The IIM Ranchi flash mob during its annual festival, 'RUSH' has gained a lot of traction on platforms like YouTube and has now become a tradition here at IIM ranchi. The institute also organizes its management festival, 'Agon' that provides a brilliant opportunity for all the business minds out there to come together and compete across events spanning from finance to consulting. Lastly, the institute has access to state of the art sports infrastructure for all major indoor and outdoor sports that helps one recreate and engage in competitive sports.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

Placement Experience:

Our college does offer campus placements from 4th semester onwards. The companies visiting our college our mostly industry based hiring for the position of assistant and trainee for short term then after that fixed placement in that company after completing the given role. Companies such as Jindal stell, Glenmark, Tata Chemicals, Sun Pharma, etc. they do provide there on test and if we pass the test then they do a walk in interview. if we pass the interview then we were offered a role of assistant or trainee under the annual package ranging from 3 - 4.5L P.A.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of the college is very good and well-structured. Teaching at the college is excellent, and students are taught various skills such as tailoring and gardening. Different types of co-curricular activities are conducted, through which student-teachers are taught many useful and practical skills. Gardening is taught, and co-curricular activities help students learn extra work beyond academics. There is NSS work and social work as well. Overall, the curriculum is very good, and the teachers there fully focus on ensuring that students stay focused on their curriculum and give their best.

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.
