Remarks

Best college for the girls.it is the 2nd best college in Kolkata for b.com(honours) and there professor are so good and there is less chance raging.it is near to my house My teachers suggest me this college

I don't know much about the placement because I am in 2nd semester.But I heard from my seniors that the campus has a well-established training and placement cell for proving the job opportunity to the eligible students. Campus invites many reputed recruiters every year for the campus recruitment.

CAMPUS LIFE 1)Saraswati Puja, 2) Independence Day, 3) Republic Day, 4) Yoga Day, 5) NCC Day. These are celebrated throughout the year and the students participate with equal pomp and gaiety. Not only students, Professors also participate in the celebrations. This is seen throughout the year

Campus Life

The facilities and infrastructures were good. The classrooms were big. We used to have two libraries one was the college library and another was departmental library; both the libraries were very good. It provide a good amount of informative books. Overall it has good facilities for students.

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.
