Remarks

Ranks in Top 5 engineering college in Mumbai. Somaiya Vidyavihar have the best campus in Mumbai. Since it is located in Central-suburban area, there are people from all places and are decent. Somaiya has 4 hostels within the campus for both boys and girls. (2 for each).

Course Curriculum Overview

With respect to Mumbai university courses and curriculum is well advanced. For example I've got 3 elective subjects in Third year whereas my friends from other colleges under Mumbai university don't have such elective subjects. All subjects are compulsory.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 171678 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are great. Companies like Accenture, Google, Microsoft, aplab, Cisco etc grant us these opportunities. Alumini network is so good that we have a council for maintaining this network named ALUMINI CELL.

College Events

Our college hold ABHIYANTRIKI as technical fest. We've technical competitions for students from all over india, Auto-expo etc. Skream as sports fest. It's a national level competition. And last but not the least Symphony as cultural fest. Usually it's a 3 day fest which is only for somaiyans! That's students studying in the somaiya campus.

Campus Life

BEST CAMPUS IN MUMBAI. Somaiya supports all the sports so as they have suck facilities. 24_7 WiFi availability with super fast speed. They have a huge library. Labs, equipments are up to date.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

NICE COLLEGE

Admission:

The college is a merchant navy. Prior to admission, the shipping company selects almost all students in the DNS course. I was selected by a shipping company called MSC through the testing and interview process. MSc advised me to complete my pre-se course from TS Rahman Institute. So visit the company's sponsorship letter. At the reception they gave me an application form and guided me through the entire admission process and fee structure.
