Remarks

I had applied to only two colleges and my name was listed first in the college from were I graduated which is City College of Commerce and Business Administration, so I had gone with the list without even waiting for the list to come out in the other college. I was confident enough that I'll be selected and for me the University matters and not the college exactly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Institution is very old but the courses that the college offers needs to be upgraded according to the modern requirements and faculties are good but generally they are out of touch with the students. In my college you'll only found Commerce related Courses so you won't be finding any suitable courses for Science or for Humanities.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

This is a big down side for my college as there is no placement. On Campus placement doesn't exist in my college but still I don't know what is the current scenario.

Well we had lot of events even every hindu and muslim festivals were celebrated, then fresher's to farewell we had it all but currently I don't know the present scenario but being honest my school was more exciting than my college life. Then blood donation campaign, football tournament,etc. Were also there.

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

The placements in our college is decent. The average salary package a student used to get from our college was around 4lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum. Mainly they used to bring non IT companies to the IT students. It was rare that IT companies used to comer in bulk.

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

I actually appiled for Bhawnipore Educational Society College and Jaipuria College other than this college and i got selected in Bhawnipore college. I choosed this college as the fees are very low compared to other colleges and the distance of the college from my home is short. In Jaipuria I couldn't make it for high cut offs and this is the only reason. Unboxing CCCBA

As a CA student i want a college where attendance doesn't matter for us, and this college is perfect for it. They doesn't ask for attendance and we only visit college when we need to appear at our college exams. Before taking admission in CCCBA i applied for Umesh chandra university which is the same college but it runs in morning and our college runs in the evening in the same building and same college. Yes, i got rejected in umesh chandra university because of my class 12th percentage. Admission process of our college is simple you can apply from our college website and and after some time they'll release merit list and if your name is in merit list it means you got selected and you can pay the college fees and that's it.
