Remarks
Being a doctor has always been my dream since childhood. As I grew up i learnt that I had to crack an entrance exam for just getting the chance to study the subject that i want and the profession that I want to pursue. Honestly it was a really tough journey cracking neet in the first attempt and it is still a rough time but it is worth it. The thing I liked most about my college is that is absolutely ragging free.We don't even get to see our seniors except on the day of fest or freshers maybe because there the college is within the hospital grounds.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is quite updated. We start our Ward classes from 3rd semester itself which is obviously a good exposure.We are supposed to take patient's case history every day and even perform some bedside clinical examination. The faculties are quite good though not all.
Placement Experience
Based on the next level PG entrance exam u get to choose your stream and a specialty course in that subject.This is a 3 year course. Before that we are expected to complete 1 year internship right after our final year exams.
College Events
The annual fest is quite Grand and the arrangements too. From previous year we have started with the Saraswati puja too and we are raising funds for it. We have lots of workshops,quiz events organized in our college time to time.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is being provided based on internal marks specially for the students who have financial advisor issues.
Campus Life
The central library is quite spacious. There is free WiFi in one of the buildings.Though the lab equipment are quite limited and most often faulty specially the light microscopes in the physiology lab.Slides are being reused cause they can't provide u new and fresh ones.And it is expected of u that u are going to clean them off after using them.
