Remarks
IIM Ranchi is one of the best in the new IIMs. The companies which visit the campus during placement season are really good companies and the salary package offered is also pretty decent. For the Newer IIMs, CAP Interview is conducted based on which you get a call from the IIMs you are eligible for the admission process is very simple where you have to deposit a token amount to book your seat once the list is out and the main admission happens in the month of July after which the session starts. IIM Ranchi has one of the best hostel campuses and they are also coming up with a new campus very soon.
Course Curriculum Overview
IIM Ranchi has one of the best faculties in the industry who have the experience of many years.
Internships Opportunities
OLX, Deloitte, Samsung, Wipro etc visited the campus for internship programmes. The maximum stipend offered was of INR 1,00,000. During the internship, we are given the tasks of market research study, data analysis which helps us to understand the industry.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for final placement from the third semester. There were companies like Flipkart, Deloitte, Samsung etc which visited the campus for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the course were INR 13,60,000. I was offered a job by a company named Freight Tiger on the campus.
Campus Life
The hostel campus is away from the college. We had to travel daily by a busy for around 30-40 minutes by bus which was arranged by the institute for us. There is cultural and sports fest that is conducted in the month of November known as Rush. We also have a management fest called AGON in the month of October. Students from other management institutes also take part in the competition. We have Khelgaon auditorium available for sports and extracurricular activities very close to the hostel campus.
Hostel Facilities
Each student was given a room of his own to live in. The food is decent and we also have a canteen in the campus where we could always run to in case the mess food was not edible enough.
Interview Experience
There was a written test before the PI in which we were given an abstract topic to write about. After the written test was done there was an interview with around 4-5 dignitaries which went on for around 30-45 minutes. The results of the PI was out within a month.
