Remarks

It is the only government college of pharmacy in delhi. It used to be a high ranking college. It is still now but at less ranking than before. It now ranks at number 25 according to NIRF Ranking 2020. Honestly, i used to think that there will be alot of studies, i will learn alot from this college but teachers dont take classes and management is also not that cooperative. But as it is the only govt. College in delhi with a good ranking in india made me choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good. If you have intrest in learning medicines you should definitely go for the course. Its kind of a little tough to score as syllabus is vast and college doesnt gives you marks that easy. You need to study hard for it. Teacher faculties are good but they doesnt take classes to teach you. You have to study by your own.

There are not much job opportunities after doing D.pharma. Its for the self employment to open a drug store or work as MR in any pharmaceutical firm. I dont think so college provide placements to the D.pharma students.

College Events

Campus life is good. Every festival is celebrated in the college. A sports week is also held every year in which students of differeny year compete with each other. But there are no fest or any college trips. Last year luckily fest and college trip took place first time in the college history. In extracurricular there are some competitions on pharmacy day like poster making and like that.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. Just go for it if you want to study pharmacy!!

Well it's a govt college and most importantly it's the oldest Pharma clg in India.... So it is my first choice...it itself is a brand... I am a lateral entry student and it is my first choice.. But except it I also applied for Guru Ghasidas in Chattisgarh...I also get a chance there but I decided for dipsar... In West Bengal.... Jadavpur and jalpaiguri is also very good option... But u need to clear an exam jelet to get an addmission there... In dipsar...
