Remarks

If anyone didn't score good in Wbjee and Jeemains the that students can take admission in this college. This college is also good in the sense of placement and the faculty members of this college is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was recently change. The college arranged different types of curriculum activities for the students. Different types of science club is here like robotics, nss, code vision etc. This all club is helpful in sharping your technical skills

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities is good. Different types of companies come here like Amazon,byjus, patanjali, and many more core companies and software companies.

College Events

College arranged different technical program through the different club associate with different areas. You will also get different types of participants certificate if you take part in any activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Vidyalakshmi yojna and if you are from Bihar then you can get 4 lacks loan as a study. And many different loan there for different categories.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of BCET is good. In college campus is divided into different block like mechanical block, computer block, Core block etc. There is a central library in this college which is good but not too good in the sense of new books. One big playground and zym room is also.

Hostel Facilities

There are different hostel. The girls hostel is situated in college campus and the boys is situated in another college campus. For 1st year boys the hostel is separate and for the rest of the students there is different hostel building. The food of mesh is not good,you can get only veg.

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
