Remarks

Discipline,good faculty,Our college provides exclusive training for placements,Labs have good facilities with Wi-Fi facility. The libraries have an ample number of books to study, and space is enough to accommodate 500 students at a time. The grounds available for sports are very good, and it is duly taken care off.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are very friendly, which gives a home-like an environment. They are always ready to help us. Their teaching quality is good, and it covers all the basic topics required for university-level exams. They also assist and motivate you for higher studies. But again they are very strict about the college timings and attendance. The course curriculum is not industry-centric but based on MAKAUT syllabus. Internships and industrial training are very helpful.

Our college provides exclusive training for placements. The total number of offers was 295 for about 229 students, where many of them received more than one offers. More than 80% of the students from computer science and engineering department got placed. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant Technology Solution and Infosys visit our college for placements. Cognizant provides 121 offers for PAT with a salary package of 4 LPA

College Events

Events like webinars and guest lectures are conducted at regular intervals. Tech fest includes Codigo, Robo fight and photography competition, which are held annually. The college provides full support in extracurricular activities like debate, drama and gaming. The campus is covered with greenery and seasonal flowers, creating an excellent ambience.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
