IIT Madras has the best professors. Those are the people who are actually working on their on research and they have better understanding.In our 3rd year it's complusory for us to have a industrial internship.

Good college

Placement Experience:

They have some plans like grouping based on the p skill level completion they will short us in groups. The groups are divided into 4 types. Group 1,2,3,4. Group 1 student get 8 lpa placement offers. Group 2 students get 6 to 8 lpa placement offers. Group 3 students have 3 to 6 lpa placement offers. And group 4 get less than 3 lpa placement offers.

Placements was slightly better than other colleges, but students need to prepare little bit more for placements. Becayse they give only essential trainings. Above 60% in SSLC, HSC, B.E students prefered for the placements by institution. I have attend three companies and I got offer in third interview.

Jee advanced is the eligibility criteria.U can find the form in the jee advanced website, price may vary year to year and to write advanced,u need to pass jee mains.The process of admission starts around July in my time and went for approx 1 month.there were 6 rounds where u can put colleges in ur prefernce and freeze or slide them accordingly.i was from narayana colege so they trained me like anything in last year with exams every alternate day or so.timing was 3 hours of the exams...Read More
