I was called for a group discussion and interview scheduled round after getting picked on the basis of my CAT scores of above 90%. I had to face difficulty in managing a good CAT score, I applied to IIT Madras using its official website and submitted an online application. I paid Rs. 1600 for the application form. The excellent rankings attracted me to apply here.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA programme prepared us to be good managers over the course of two years. We had an overall developmental experience in terms of management theory and practise through the programme. Classroom instruction, case discussions, hands-on management, industry internships, and project work were all part of our programme.
Placement Experience
Top recruiters participated in the push for our MBA class, including McKinsey, Accenture, Dell, EMCO, RBS, CHALO, GE, CISCO, Amazon, IBM, and HCL. My cohort received employment offers from 24 leading firms, resulting in a placement rate of 100 percent. My batch's average compensation package was about 14.4 lakhs, with the highest salary package above 22 lakhs which was acceptable from here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For my two-year MBA degree, I had to pay roughly Rs. 8 lakhs. Although I was unable to receive a scholarship, the institute assisted me in acquiring an educational loan from a bank throughout the admissions process. I was also able to make money throughout my summer internship. I worked with Amazon for four weeks and got paid Rs.90,000 per month at that period.
Campus Life
We had a pleasant and fulfilling academic life at IIT Madras, with amenities such as a well-organized library with over 20 million books, medical facilities, cuisine, sports, and so on. Arts - Kalakriti, Analytics - Enigma, Debate - Rhetorica, Economics - Arthonomics, Finance - Fin-Addicts, HR - FoHRum, and Marketing - Mercado were among the clubs open to us.
