This college is as good as it can get given the current situation. It has achieved a lot and given its annual operation cost itself is 4. 06Cr, it is understandable that the equipment present eats most of its funds.

The course curriculum for a freshie is rather uninteresting but the courses from the sophomore years onwards that are offered by said department are very heavy and useful if you're into research. Labs now are all introductory to the department, so, pretty simple. Once we start conducting experiments on some of the most expensive equipment in the country, I'm sure it will get more hectic.

Job placements are some of the best in the country, sensitive branches like Metallurgy and Naval Architecture and Biotechnology are hard to get a core placement, but non-core jobs are plentiful. Average packages are around 13. 6L and the college does provide a paid internship in the 3rd year.

New-year celebration, Inter college sports week, HolI celebration, Republic day celebrations, Independence day celebrations, Nurses day celebrations, Teachers day celebration, Children's day celebration, Annual function, Christmas celebration, Vashant panchami, And many other events are celebrated kn college every year.

For a government college, it seems rather expensive, but given the equipment in the campus and the status of eminence, it can be justified. It shall be an additional 4L if you wish to pursue a semester exchange with a college abroad.

There are a few scholarships offered by Alumnus fund and others offered universally for college students as such, all IITM students can although avail a VidyaLaxmi scheme that gives them an education loan without any interest for the period of their study and one more year.

Gender ratio is a tad bit off, it's 200girls in a batch of 1000 students. There's hostel nights as such where you can gather and have fun like BBQ night where the hostel budget pays for your BBQ. There's a lot of clubs like chess club, drama club, elecfest club etc. There's groupism based off of the region you are from, owing to the language similarity but no discrimination as such. The hostel infrastructure is right on the edge of adequate, it can definitely be better, improved in a lot of ways like automatic washing machines and air conditioning and single rooms and better monkey proofing and more parking space and more books in the library.

The Alumni Network is far too big to be handled single handedly by a student run body, so, it is in consortium with an office called Dean International Alumni Relations. Alumni are very generous with their funding owing to the memories this place has given them. Most of the hostel renovations are owing to them.

Through entrance exam conducted by Ruhs annually for the college selection in course of Bsc. Nursing. You have to clear the cut off for the admission in college I got admission through the entrance test and I have scored 59 marks out off 100 and I got my deserving college.

They are highly qualified profeesionals who are known in their field and are working on some high profile research with a good number of research scholars and PhD students under them to help them. There has been a move to hire more profeesors based off of their research potential but senior profeesors still control the hiring and are choosing teaching over research.
