Remarks
It is a reputed college in east India. I was allotted this college through neet exam counselling and I had given other exams through which I was not get the branch of my choice. The college is close to my home town.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a good college with a lot of patient load. Hence the exposure is good.the teachers are very nice and they teach us a lot from clinics to academics. The hostel facilities are not that good but it's manageable.
Placement Experience
Most people start private practice nad some go into government service after finishing a bond for 3 years in the state. Most of the alumni are doing very well and earning pretty well.
College Events
The campus is beautiful with many trees and tall buildings. It is situated close to the railway station and the metro station. Cultural event held here is called Lobelia. It is really nice. There are interbatch competitions and it is conducted for 4 days at the end of which there is a performance by a band or a singer.
Campus Life
There is not much sports activity on the campus. The library is good. The ots and opds are well equipped with latest instruments. There is an annual fest Lobelia which is very enjoyable and a lot of competitions are conducted during that time.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are not very good. The hostel buildings are old and not very well maintained. Hostel facilities are given to every student. The hostel fees is included in the course fees. There is no mess attached to the hostel and food has to be ordered or arrangements made with the canteen. Hostel can be availed by writing an application to the superintendent of the hostel.
