Marine life in manet.

Overall our college is good and provides disciplined life but at the same time it is little bit hectic due to all physical training and parades held by them, but at the same time these activities help us to get stronger in life.

I appeared for Manet entrance exam, I was 2nd in the merit lost of my city, I opt for this college bcoz of its quality education and a class infrastructure.

The course structure is designed by d.g shipping india so that students can learn in a better and efficient manner students are given an opportunity in research field and provided full support by the college faculties and financial aid is also provided to students who come up with some innovative ideas.

Our college doesn't provide internship placement companies starts recruiting cadets in thier pre final year. They are looking for cadets who have got both practical and theoretical knowledge.

In our last passed out batch 90% of the cadets were placed those who haven't cleared their backlogs yet are also being provided assistance by college placement cell. I am also placed in wilhelmsen ship management and its a great company some of the companies which recruit cadets from our college are MOL, WSM, WALLEM, BW MARITIME, ELITE, MSC and many more the companies provide a package of 600 to 1000$ pm.

Our college organizes various events like national level summit and maritime sports we are sent to various colleges for technical paper presentations and quiz competitions. Our college organizes MANIFEST for freshers and passing out ceremony and parade for the last year students.

Fee structure is little bit expensive but at the same time much more cheaper as compared to other marine colleges fees structures for 4 year course is 12 lakhs approximately for 3year course it is 9 lakhs our college provides various scholarships to needy students.I would recommend this college as its fees is less than any other marine college and quality of education is also good.

Our college give scholarships to students who have scored 85% in 12th and also to students whose parents income is less.Girl cadets are also given scholarships provided they clear all subjects in thier first attempts national level card holders in sports are also given scholarships.

In our college count of girl cadets is very much less as compared to male cadet our college also organizes various extra co curricular activities where students can take part and explore their capabilities. Our college organizes painting and dance competitions and prizes are distributed to cadets who have performed well.Our college organizes teachers day, children day, national maritime day and many more events.

Hostel facilities are good and a regular hostel inspection is carried out to check whether cadets are living in proper way and if they have any problem then it is also resolved at the earliest mess food is of good quality and we are given nutritional diets.

My experience with college seniors was awesome they are very helpful and kind.Thel help us in all field whether it is sports or academics seniors helped me a lot for placements, as they guided me so that i can perform well duribpng interviews and i was able to crack it.

Exams are organised in a well discippkined manner.Students are provided all facilities so that they do not face any problem during exams our college has lots of labs where we are given practical knowledge by oir instructors and this help us in interviews too.

Our college have one of best faculties in pune as compared to other marine colleges they are very friendly and supportive all marine facilities are ex mariners who have got lots of sea experience and training which help them to teach us and share there onboard experience.
