Remarks

One of the best college. Good standard of teaching is provided. Good ambience and also inside the campus there is a temple. The syllabus which they provide is also good. And also the placements are also good many companies come and offers jobs. Also classes are provided for the placements based on aptitude, verbal etc.

The syllabus was good and the teachers are very supportive. The standard of teaching which they provide is also good. The syllabus was updated. The academics is also good. when students have any doubts they are free to ask.

The placements are good. The company offers good post for the students. Mckinsey, Deloitte, TTK, federal bank etc. Are some of the companies which come for campus selection. The placement process will be of aptitude test, group discussion, interview.

The college is strict but at the same time we can enjoy the campus life also. Events are also there where students can participate and show their talents. Each department conducts fest like management fest. Students from different departments can participate in any of the fest.

The campus consist of a serene atmosphere. Also a temple is there inside the college campus. The college have a ground also badminton court. wifi are provided for faculties and hostelers. There is a library which is quite large and we can refer and take the books which we require. We can also use the labs with the college Wi-Fi.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel life was not that bad. It was good. Got the opportunity to interact with many other students. Everyday morning and evening we have got prayer which is compulsory for all the students and staffs. In the rooms there will be 3 to 4 students and common washrooms. Study room is also provided. The main thing is we learn how to adjust.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
