Bad Remark is that college is in budding period so it is growing. So student who will join later they will get better opportunities than present students and it is happening that every year everything is improving

I appeared in IIT mains exam and got AIR 16292. i was not able to crack IIT mains but i wanted to study in IIT, when i heard that IIITs are also very much like IIT so i choosed IIITDM Jabalpur. I was very much interested in mechanical engineering so i choose mechanical engineering. IIITDM has three streams ME, CSE and ECE.

Overseas and home placement opportunities are there. Average package is more than 9 lpa. CSE placement is awesome but mechanical and ECE placement is not that good. But placement is improving year by year

There are three inter college festivals:- Tarang - Cultural fest, Abhikalpan - Technical fest, Gusto - Sports fest Various students came from different different colleges.

It is a central funded institute so fee structure is very feasible. My college fee is 28500/-Hostel and mess fee is around 8000/-But now College fee is increased to 35000/-For more information you can visit college website

There are many scholarship. Main scholarship is MCM scholarship in which students get his full fee plus 1000 per month. It is very prestigious scholarship and 25% people get benefit through this scholarship

Mess food is ok ok. I will not say it is very good but people are putting their efforts to improve mess food. Hostel is awesome. Infrastructure and cleanness is very good One problem is there that you will get single room in final year only

College is in budding period so alumni network is not very strong but every year it is becoming better. Apart from this seniors very helpful. They are placed at very good places and always ready to help their juniors

Institute is autonomous so examination is independent. Still general pattern is:1. 2 Quizzes - 25%2. Mid-Sem Exam- 25%3. End-Sem Exam- 40%4. Project - 10%

Faculty of my college is having very good research profile. They very frequently publish research papers. Teaching is very good. There is always course project with most of the courses.
