Experience of college life

The best remark that I found is here is no ragging. Completely 0% ragging in the college campus

I took WBJEE and JEE(MAIN) both but selected for WBJEE Rank which was 7421. I opt for this college because it is 2nd best private Engineering college in West Bengal

The cell organises various summer internship programme for students to provide them with hand on experience.The stipend was not known to me because I haven't done it yet.

The companies came this year are TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, TECHMAHINDRA etc. The placement through TCS is a record placement 527 students were placed in TCS.The package was nearly 5.5lacs.

The college celebrates cultural, techno-management fest in a grand manner.The cultural fest of the college is one of the best in Kolkata. Singer KK, Anupam Ray had performed last year. There was a DJ night by Sunburn too. In tech fest also the participation of students from different colleges had mate it big success. The prize money for winners were quite big.

The fee structure is as follows. Total fees payable at the time of admission 63,700. 2nd semester 37,500 3rd & 4th semester (per semester)38,000 5th & 6th Semester (per semester)39,000, 7th & 8th Semester (per semester)40,000.

The college has big playground, swimming pool etc. So the students interested in sports can do it here. The labs are well equipped with new machines. There are many clubs to join students in their extracurricular activities, robotics, quiz, debate.

The college has hostels with limited seats so it is difficult to get seat at the time of admission. The rentals in hostel is about 6000.There is Wi-Fi facilities. It is always sharing with 2, 3or4 students. There is also PG's facility available nearby with avg rental of 5500 per month. But the standard of food is not good in PG's.Some students used to rent a room and eat outside.

The college has to TS alumni network in website too. You can interact with seniors. I am in touch with the senior students. The environment is very friendly in our college.

The exams are frequently occur. The labs are very important carrying marks for each day attendence. There are two internals of 30 marks each and one final exam for semester is conducted. Here you can feel the studyvpressure.
