Remarks

The college is run by CMI priests who are one of the best in this field. It's a good place for freshers.

Entrance Preview

I took up MAT and I scored 80 percentile. I opted for this college because it was famous and reputed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was good. The specialisation I took followed IIM-B curriculum. We had regular classes in the morning and in the afternoon we had mentoring. It was meant to help us learn better and cope with the course.

Internships Opportunities

We have to find our own internship and there is no stipend. Very rarely did anybody get a stipend. I found my own and I did it at Duroflex mattresses. It is one of the leading mattress companies in the world.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is Ok. The college tells companies that it has freshers and they come to recruit freshers with packages apt for freshers. So those will work ex will have to either compromise on salary or find work on their own. The average salary offered by companies is 3 lakhs per annum and some of the companies that came were Wipro, TCS, South Indian Bank, Union Bank of India, Google, Target, Ernest & Young, etc.

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrated in college. One event/day which is celebrated in great festive spirit through it the college is the ethnic day. The whole college takes part in this and the students come in their traditional dresses. It is a day of festivity. There are many other events which each department organize.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees when I studied was 2.25 lakhs a year inclusive of everything (lodging and boarding not included). It was one of the cheapest MBA's then when we did it. And with the low fees we paid it was worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any. There are education loans given by Banks which everybody can use. You could approach a bank and get more details.

Campus Life

4

It is a well supported campus with all the facilities that you need. Sports it got just one ground. There is almost an equal ratio of both sexes and people from various cultures. There were students from other countries too studying in Christ.

Hostel Facilities

1

There is hostel facility inside the college only for the girls. And there is no food. I am not sure how good it was. The boys hostel I did not like and I was staying out with a friend of mine. It was apartment model with 4 staying in one apartment.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not very strong with the alumni association and there are very few seniors that I know from Christ. Being a 2 year course there is only one set of seniors that you are in direct contact with. And since ragging is banned there was always a fear to interact with juniors because of the risk of being mistaken for ragging.

Exam Structure

The examination followed a trimester model. In between each trimester we had 1 mid sem exams and 2 Continuous Internal assessment. So there was continuously some test or exam happening continuously.

Faculty

3.5

Except for a few, others were just average. I would not say that the faculty is that great. MBA instead of helping the students to get their ideas flowing it was mostly the teachers trying to get their ideas pushed into students.

Placement Experience:

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.
