What Students Say
Likes
- The teaching faculty do a great job of helping the students understand the various topics covered under the syllabus
- Social life around the campus is great and students are given the freedom to roam around the campus at will and this encourages everyone to socialise with each other
- The quality of the infrastructure is great as the classrooms are equipped with the necessary tools required and there is a fully equipped computer lab along with training and development room too
Dislikes
- There aren't proper sports facilities and those could be worked upon down the line
- There isn't good ventilation in all the classrooms in the campus and it gets stuffy at times during classes
- The food around campus could be improved for sure especially during the lunch time, the students are usually displeased with the mess food provided
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers all the bases of management from HR to finance to marketing. There are faculties for all of them who have rich subject knowledge and are able to deliver them in a good way. Only drawback would be the time constraints so some faculties find it difficult to finish the syllabus for a trimester on time
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities to students in their 3rd trimester right before the summer break. Multiple companies are offered to the students for their internship opportunities and the process happens around April and may. Roles usually are of sales or operations or digital marketing and for HR and finance the relevant roles come through for internships
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is as follows: There are 3 instalments to be paid of 3 lakh each over the course of the first year There is an admission fee of 50000 There are also exam fees but those are informed during the course before the exams take place
Campus Life
Campus life is great and very calm. Students are always out and about during the breaks and mingle with each other and it is very lively. There is a positive atmosphere around campus and students are either busy doing work or enjoying their hour off during the break. There are cultural and social events that happen almost every week or so and there are multiple societies who also host events now and then.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility for the girls is within the college campus itself and there is tight security for their safety with a curfew of around 9 pm. The boys hostel is about 1 km away from the campus and they also have a curfew of 10 pm. The meals in the hostel are average and nothing to write home about.
Admission
I chose this college mainly due to the IRE and CPMP programs offered by the college. During the time I was looking for colleges these two things struck my eyes and I was interested in joining them. I have also heard good feedback in general about the college. The college admission requires the CAT exam and the overall admission process is very smooth and efficient
Faculty
The faculty members in the college come from various colleges around Bangalore and other parts of India. Some of them have worked in corporate beforehand while some are very academically accomplished. There is ample experience in the faculty combined and they are excellent at delivering the subject knowledge to the students. The exams are easy to clear and students mostly only fail if they don't attend the exams.
Night Life
Nightlife in the campus is non existent to be honest but students can go out and enjoy the city of Bangalore within their curfew times of the hostels. Students in the second year do not have curfew so they have more time to enjoy the city outside. Mostly students go out in groups after classes to wind down and have some tea or coffee nearby.
