Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum 9 out of 10 for its relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it combines classroom learning with practical exposure through unique programs like IRE, CPMP and BMP.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides 100% internship opportunities with companies like ITC, wildcraft, WTC, CATKing and others. This internship is also an compulsary as an part of curriculum with minimum 12 weeks. I done my internship at Pathfinder company which comes under realestate industry and my role is Market Research analyst.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent, with students becoming eligible from the 5th semester with PPO's. Companies like Nykaa, ITC, L&T, Axis Bank, TCS, Bosch etc visit the campus. Highest package is 20 LPA, average 8.2 LPA with 100% placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for my PGDM course is 9.5 Lakhs. This includes tuition fees and other academic charges such as registration, library, and development fees. The college also offers merit-based scholarships and financial assistance for eligible students based on academic performance and other criteria. Overall, the fee is justified considering the quality of education, practical learning opportunities, infrastructure, and placement support.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant with business fests, cultural events, clubs, and sports activities. The library has a good collection of books and journals, classrooms are smart and well equipped, and facilities like gym, clubhouse, labs, and volleyball court enhance student life.
Admission
I chose GIBS over other colleges because of its practical learning through IRE, CPMP, and BMP, experienced faculty, and strong placement support. Admission was smooth and entrance exams like CAT/MAT/CMAT etc scores followed by a personal interview
Faculty
The faculty members at GIBS Business School are experienced, knowledgable, and very approachable, maintaining a good faculty to student ratio that allows for individual attetion and mentoring. I particularly liked Hari Prakash sir, Parameshwar sir and Dilipan sir for their practical teaching approach and guidance throughout the course.
Interview Experience
I faced only Personal Interview as part of the admission process. The questions were about my academic background, career goals, strengths, and interest in management. The process was smooth, and I prepared by reviewing basic MBA concepts and practicing interview questions.
Night Life
The campus is safe and well-maintained, with fixed hostel and campus timings. Students usually unwind at the cafeteria, gym or clubhouse. Nearby cafes and restaurants are popular hangout spots, and the locality is generally safe during the evening.
